Read LDN fashion’s review of The Food Doctor Clinic, Harley Street and book in for some "de-stressing acupuncture with Kate Winstanley”
Founded in 1999, The Food Doctor clinic has been providing unique nutritional advice for over twelve years. Unlike many similar services on offer, The Food Doctor pride themselves on giving out healthy living plans which take into account a client’s entire lifestyle, as opposed to simply dishing out lists of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ foods.
Ever the skeptic, I visited their Harley Street clinic for a personal consultation to see just how useful their advice could possibly be. Within five minutes of speaking to nutritionist Gemma Landau, I was given fantastic personalised information (how food and dietary supplements could help with skin conditions such as eczema, why my caffeine intake isn’t actually doing anything to help my busy lifestyle) as well as general tips and dietary suggestions that would be more than helpful.
The clinic also offers a food counselling service from Yvonne Green, who works to resolve the deeply-rooted reasons behind problematic eating habits. As if that wasn’t enough, you can also book in for a session of de-stressing acupuncture with Kate Winstanley or see psychologist Annika Lindberg without leaving the building.
The Food Doctor Clinic is located at 13, Harley Street, London W1G 9QG. For Appointments call: 020 7792 6720 or visit www.thefooddoctor.com for more information.
